Most travelers prefer not to put themselves at risk when traveling, especially when traveling for pleasure. The FCO monitors the pulse of world conflict so that travelers can make wise decisions about their safety. Unfortunately, until there is political unrest and violence in the Middle East, travel insurance will remain high or may not be available. The beauty of these countries must wait to be discovered.
